1st July 2026

Our new, vintage, cloudy apple cider is scheduled for production on the 27th July 2026 and will be available to buy at the beginning of August.

13th May 2026

Batch #2 of our Colliery No2, premium amber & dark spiced rum arrives and will be available for sale in 70cl bottles, 5cl miniatures and gift sets.

1st April 2026

The launch of our micro batch, Colliery No2, premium branded Gins.

Made in Wales, in micro batches to ensure quality and consistency. Each bottle is hand labelled and numbered.

70cl bottles, available in the following flavours;

Sour Cherry, Strawberry & Rose, Traditional Dry and Blackberry & Oolong (Chinese tea).

13th Feb 2026 - Wrexham Miners Project

Today we had the privilege to visit the Wrexham Miners Project. Learning about the incredible work they do, in both preserving and promoting Wrexham's historic mining heritage. 
To help support their fundraising efforts we have donated a rather special bottle of our premium, dark spiced rum. Bottle #87 of batch #1. This represents the year (1987) that the final pieces of machinery were salvaged from Bersham Colliery prior to the shaft being sealed. 
This bottle will be auctioned at a later date and the proceeds will help the invaluable work of the Wrexham Miners Project to continue. 
Thank you to all at the project who took the time to show us around and shared their stories. 

Proud winners of Theo Paphitis Small Business Sunday #sbs

On the 26th January 2026 our business was awarded the small business Sunday award by Theo Paphitis, former Dragon on BBCs Dragons Den & chairman of Ryman, Robert Dyas and Boux Avenue.

Our charity partner for 2026

Throughout 2026 we will be raising money for Vision Support. A local charity supporting people with vison impairment.
During our events, pop ups & markets we will;
Make a donation from cider gift box sales (£1.00 per gift box sold) and have donation collection tins on our stalls.

Nightingale House Hospice

On Thursday 4th of December we will be supporting Nightingale House Hospice at the Networx/Haswells Christmas Fair the Rossett Business village.We will be hosting a tasting session of our ciders and retailing our ciders and gift packs.
Please come and support the incredible work of the hospice and the many small businesses taking part.

Coming November 2025

We are excited to announce, our own brand rums will be available in November 2025. Working with a small, bespoke distillery, we have produced a premium amber rum & a premium dark, spiced rum.
Our brand, Colliery No2, pays homage to Wexham's mining heritage. In particular, Bersham Colliery (No2) the home of our business premises. 
Our spirits are produced in small batches, with a maximum of 100, 70cl bottles per production. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, our rums develop a complex blend of notes that are robust yet smooth on the palate. Each bottle is hand labelled and numbered, providing a truly exquisite, spirit experience.
Feedback from our wholesale customer sampling has been extremely positive with many advanced orders having been placed.
Pre-orders are available & recommended for our first, limited production.


Macmillan Coffee Morning

On the 2nd October 2025 (09:00 - 16:00) We will be taking park in a Macmillan coffee morning event with Wrexham Markets. 
We will be hosting a free cider tasting session (a small donation to Macmillan would be appreciated). Our premium ciders, branded glasses, T-Shirts and gift packs will be available to buy.
